Read anything you're handed on a doorstep, all of it, and if the person can't explain a paragraph in plain words, that tells you what you need to know.

We also won't price your roof against a clock. There's no figure that only holds if you sign tonight, no manager on speakerphone approving something special, and nobody will follow up more than a couple of times.
